Junior High

 
The junior high within Encounter exsists for 3 simple reasons:
-Reach out to our community through monthly events
-Connect and grow to Christ through weekly small groups
-prepare them for an adulthood following Christ

Small groups
Junior high small groups are on Wednesday nights at 5:45 at the church during the school year. They are held in rooms in the church before the Encounter service. They are split up between guys and girls and are led by qualified adults and high school students. We focus on building relationships and teaching about devos, accountability and spiritual maturity.  We take a break during the summer and start up for the school year.

 Junior High Church
This is an extension of our youth ministry just for junior high students on Sunday morning. All junior high students go into the adult services on Sunday morning (9,10:30, 12, 5) and stay through worship. There will then be video and announcement inviting the students out of the auditorium and to follow leaders upstairs. The students will then be playing games and listening to a relevant message designed just for them.
