At Gold Creek Church, baptism is a wonderful, once in a lifetime event that celebrated the beginning of the Christian life. Our baptism practice is believer’s baptism by immersion as a symbol and sign of decision to put one’s faith in Jesus Christ, and to trust in His sacrifice on the cross for the forgiveness of their sins.
Baptism is not something we do to check a list or merely perform a church ritual, but is instead a public celebration and statement of the decision we’ve already made in our hearts to put our trust in Christ and make God First.
A one-time class is required for any students (5-12th grade) desiring to be baptized. Parent(s) are required to take the class with their child.
