Acoustic Battle of the Artists Type of Event: Description: The evening will culminate with a concert by Trent Monk. Trent is from Texas and has been part of the duo Monk and Neagle, and has had a recording deal with Reunion Records. Ed Cash produced their first project called The Twenty First time. The Twenty-First Time exceeds the John Mayer/Jack Johnson/Bebo Norman jazz/acoustic-pop fusion established on Monk & Neagle’s 2004 self-titled debut. Trent’s phenomenal vocal work is powerfully evident. But by far, the telltale mark of distinction here is found in the lyrical depth and meaning that permeates the record. You won’t want to miss this event. Come and support our local musicians and here some world class acoustic music. Date and Time: June 22, 2008 – 6:30 p.m. Best Suited Audience: All Ages – Acoustic Music Lovers Cost - $5.00 or All Access Pass / Children 5 and under are free[Buy Tickets] |

The group---comprised of Carolyne, Jordan, and Caroline---debuted last year with a self-titled CD and followed with two DVD releases that showcased not only their vocal skills, but also their amazing acrobatics and complex choreography. It’s that combination of high-octane energy combined with lyrical integrity that lies at the core of pureNRG’s success. Each member of the group brings a diverse skill set to pureNRG.
