I’m sitting on a CT90 that my Dad and I bought. When we bought this bike it was in really tough shape. I’m excited to work on this bike, and will be doing so on stage in the month of January, throughout the Sermon Series called, “Running Sweet,” which will focus on adjusting our spiritual life.
I was thinking about this bike, and how it is a vehicle that’s made to take you somewhere. The reason I’m working on this bike and planning to fix it, is so it can take me to a lot of cool places. These vehicles are made to take you to some incredible places. We also have vehicles in our life that take us somewhere. As you think about your life today, what are the vehicles that take you somewhere? When you have a healthy family, it takes you somewhere. When you have a healthy job and a healthy job habit, it takes you somewhere. When we have a healthy church, it takes us somewhere. It takes us deeper spiritually and it also helps us reach more and more people.
This year, as I think about 2019, we are so excited for what this year will bring. We’re going to have a healthy church that is growing in every aspect. Helping you grow spiritually, and helping us grow numerically, because more and more people need to know of this incredible gift that God has given us through his son Jesus Christ. And that’s a faith that changes us and makes us healthy. I’m excited to work on the vehicle that God’s given us this year called Gold Creek. I hope to see you on Sunday!
