It’s fun to be at Gold Creek for a Sunday morning, or Tuesday evening service. Or attending one of our special events, like Carnival, that we just had in October. It’s fun to be a part of the large crowds and see new faces, as well as socialize and engage with the families and members of the Church.
Gold Creek Community Church will be hosting Snow Day in Snow-Ville this Saturday, December 1st, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.
“Even though it’s Snow Day and my toes get run over working in the go-kart area, I love Snow Day because of what it stands for. “
Gold Creek hosts community events because we like to follow Christ’s example in the Bible. In Matthew 19 it says, “When Jesus had completed these teachings, he left Galilee and crossed the region of Judah on the other side of the Jordan. Great crowds followed him there and he healed them.” We love doing things that bring great crowds. Carnival and Snow Day may not feel like Church, but these events make it easier to invite friends and family that don’t attend Gold Creek. When we see someone coming to Gold Creek for Carnival, Snow Day or other big event, we feel that’s actually the very first faith step they are taking. It’s another way to get plugged into the Church and experience the healing love of Jesus Christ.
Even though it’s Snow Day and my toes get run over working in the go-kart area, I love Snow Day because of what it stands for.
And Snow Day fills my cotton candy cravings and we get to experience snow, which we don’t always get in Mill Creek. I also love this event because of the new faces we get to see and people we meet. So join us for Snow Day. Be a part of the large crowd!
