What We're Teaching

At Christmas, gifts are all around us, but we know the holiday isn't about the toys - it's about the joy of Jesus' birth. We might experience joy from opening up gifts, but God gives us even greater joy through Jesus. In this 5-week series, kids will learn all about the joy Jesus brought into the world. They'll learn Jesus is the savior God promised, how God has perfect timing, that Jesus brings joy to the world, and what it means to say Jesus is God's greatest gift.

GC Kids

GC Kids exists to equip kids with a strong biblical foundation, allowing them to identify where they fit in God’s story.

We want to show them God’s love for them and help them navigate what to do in response to that love. Rest assured that we practice safety and emergency protocols, and vet our leaders with background checks and have accountability steps in place. We look forward to the honor of spending time with your kids!

Birth – Walking

Nursery

Check in your infant in our kids’ lobby and then head to our nursery (located between the café and the worship center in our main lobby). You’ll find a playful environment with tons of toys and comfort items for every baby, and qualified caregivers to give the very best care to your little one. Your baby will be comforted and entertained while you enjoy service! The adult service is shown on TVs both in our nursery and in the adjoining Mother’s Room for those who would like to stay with their babes.

Walking – Kindergarten

Lil Kids

With five different classrooms as for age groups from walking toddlers up through kindergarten, your little ones will be surrounded with equally-aged peers in super fun spaces designed with them in mind. Your child will learn about faith and how their lives can be changed through Jesus as they’re captivated by worship songs and Bible-based storytelling.

1st – 3rd Grade

Kids Zone

The Kids Zone located in the gym just inside the kids’ lobby is the ultimate place for your 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade student to spend a Sunday morning! Excitement buzzes as fun music plays and kids mingle with their peers and enjoy activities like bounce houses and slides, climbing walls, Legos and more. After a Biblical lesson and wonderful worship songs to sing and dance to, discussion time in groups helps kids in this area really begin to grasp spiritual concepts.

4th – 5th Grade

Bridge

Head upstairs from the kids’ lobby and down the hall with your 4th or 5th grader to find an awesome spot for them to experience community. Video games and art stations sprawl around the room as kids join each other for activities and games. They’ll love singing the worship songs together, and learning during a lesson crafted for their growing minds. Extended discussion and application time will deepen their understanding and build their faith.
